Who's Riding Where???

OK, here we are. It’s Friday evening and it’s time to think about a Dawn Patrol ride tomorrow and or Sunday.

So, who’s riding where?

 

I may be riding here, but that doesn't help you.

It's gonna be 137° everywhere else.

 

6am road duty. Maybe a metric if temps allow.

 

I was just thinking the same thing... dawn patrol front range? Strawberry?

Which one? Or are we combining the two? I might need cooler weather for that... Or a 2 AM start.

 

Basecamp to the inimitable trail x, dawn start. Truckee river valley highs cracking 90° tomorrow. Hell yea, F the weather.

 

Beer talking but I currently plan on a 5:00am ish roll time for some boring ass thing around here.

Going to try and hit Wrightwood at 8:00 am nothing big just need some pedal time. Kinda early for me?

Sure, as long as you're riding on the FLoop. Otherwise, you are on the second-best trail in North America.

 

Aliso early - like 6:30 early. I still have to stay off the good stuff, so just hitting the more mundane fare.

Not just speed, sir, but drops and repeated tugs/pushes like one gets on stair steps are still contraindicated.
Staying off of 5-Oaks, Car Wreck, Stairs, T and A and Rattlesnake for now.

Yeah - well luckily I can throw Rock-It, Lynx and Meadows in the mix too, so not quite THAT mundane.

Weekends are overrated. A Monday ride sets a nice tone for the week.

Gonna go back to Skyline Big Bear this Friday. The weather was so nice and the air smelled so good I can't resist. Plus, I have to try to ride some of the little techy features I either didn't try or didn't clean last week. Oh, and I also have to go erect a trailside memorial for our dearly departed Simon.
