That would be a fun casual group ride.

 

I'm on kid duty this week while they're on Spring Break. I'm going to try to get down to Aliso for an afternoon/evening ride when my wife gets home from work either today or tomorrow (or both). That would put me down there around 5, give or take 30 minutes. Let me know if you want to meet up.

 

I will ride hard tonight while staring at my garage door.

 

You need a backup MTB...I recommend a short-mid travel 29er.

Yes. Every day up at the Reagan Library I look around and think wow that was fast.

 

the green lasted longer than usual this year though.

 

Friday morning 6:00 a.m. Rendezvous at base of Skyline in Corona. Crew departs for Pleasants Peak at 6:30 a.m. Bike will be stashed in the back of the Jeep and ridden only after the project is constructed. Come visit me! I'll be donning FRC with a "Tim" name tag.

 

Uncle Rossage herbal appreciation ride, Thursday , 4/20, about 3pm from the JPL lot. Let's be blunt about this ride in the backwoods. We will be packing and rollin by 3 in order to be up top by 4:20pm. Start early, start late, sure beats working.
Snoop, Willie, and the gang will all be there....will you?

Agreed. This is on the backside of the Reagan Library. I take my lunch here every day. Last week this was all green.

Nothing beats the sound of a big gas V-8 at full throttle. Especially when you're not paying for the gas.

I didn't make it out yesterday, but I'm definitely heading down to Aliso today. I'll be down there around 5 and planning to hit some combination of 5 Oaks, Rock-it, Lynx, Car Wreck ... whatever I have the time and legs for. Let me know if anyone wants to join so I'll know to look for anyone. I'll be at Canyon View Park in a silver Sequoia, riding a matte Tallboy LTC, wearing a Path jersey.

 

Looks like a morning ride through Sully for me this Saturday since I will be working in Mandeville Canyon immediately afterward. Maybe just a quick up Sully Cyn/Bent Arrow/ over to Nike/back down Sully Cyn.

 

Planning on Turnbull canyon saturday morning, 7am.

Obviously this is a roadie adventure.

 

My surgery is scheduled for may 9th... So it feels like the most logical thing to do is dust hte FS bike and go ride at aliso one last time before I go. I'm totally not supposed to but I'm doing it anyway, cause: Reasons. Saturday morning, before the heat - 5oaks, rockit and see how I feel. Maybe some extra credit down car-wreck.

 

Saturday, 4/22, EDSSSS, Earth Day Strawberry Shortcake Singletrack Surprise. 15miles/2500elev. From Red Box. 7am start.
