Since most people treat Labor Day as the unofficial end of summer, let's have an end of summer ride.
(And, I can't do an equinox ride)
(And us OTH'ers are now free again)
Us slower folks will ride at 5:15 to make it to Beek's before sunset at 7:20 pm. Faster people can leave later and still make it.
Maybe bring a beer or two to enjoy with sunset.
Bring lights for the way down.

Also, most kids are back in school or will be soon. That is a definite end of summer.

 

I'm usually up for a Black Star social ride.

Bonsainut - pretty sure most of us on this ride are over 50 already. Young and old are welcome.

And, OMG we are going to die! It's forecast to be 100 degrees that day.

Thanks to everyone that came out.
I don't think we quite get the 100 degree credit, but it was at least darned close.
The after sunset descent was the warmest descent I can remember.

 

My Garmin registered 100.8 as we rolled. So I'm gonna take it.

 

Mine said 106.7, but I'm not buying that. It was in the cab of my truck all day.
