I'm probably gonna have to see that this weekend...luckily the Buena Park Kevorkian theater is never crowded.

 

Rad. I am gonna try and double feature it this weekend with Deadpool. I am cheap like that.

Happened across this documentary on Revenge of the Nerds. It was worth the watch (several F bombs in it).

 

The girls and I have tickets to see the new dinosaur movie this weekend. Not sure what to expect. Too many dinosaur movies have been made now.

And I do not like the idea of turning dinosaurs into Superheroes!

 

Why not? They did it with mutant turtles.

A couple I've seen lately:

"Annihilation" It's one of those SciFi movies that tickles your brain kind of similar to Arrival in a sense. Plus umm, Natalie Portman, duhh.... Trippy visuals too.
"Thor Ragnarok" Entertaining and pretty damn funny. Korg cracked me up. "Well, I tried to start a revolution, but didn't print enough pamphlets so hardly anyone turned up."
"Black Panther" Definitely lived up to the hype. It was fantastic.

Still haven't seen the new Blade Runner but have to be in a certain mood for that one.

Cannot wait until the new Sicario movie comes out. The first one was epic!

 

Dinosaurs revisited. A few great scenes so if you've seen the others, go see this one.

 

Warrior is one of my favs, Tom Hardy is um....
But really, it’s a great flick, great story

 

Going to see The Incredibles 2 tomorrow. Probably not on par with the movies mentioned above.

 

He's rad in "Taboo." But it's a TV show, not a movie, and it's pretty dark.

 

Never heard of it!

 

Cable. BBC. Hardy's a great actor, plays a fascinating character, and helped create the show.. but it's not for everyone due to its dark nature and evil undertones. View with care.

 

Peaky Blinders too.....

 

If you like Tom Hardy.... and want to see something different and not normal... oh yeah... dark... and based on a true story which even makes it .... <fill in your word after you see it>

Haha, me too...it was pretty good! Saw it with my daughter on Main St in Ventura ..right after the beach, so my leg brace was dripping sea water throughout the whole movie...I was freezing
