Anything that gets in the way of your MTB has something to do with mountain biking.

  10. I haven't hit that area since 2012 and would love to go but I not selfish and hate to slow folks down or to be the last one. If any slow peeps go, I'll commit and coordinate a carpool with Mikie.

That is so totally insulting. I don't even own a goldfish. But I really do need to go to my hair stylist this weekend.:whistling:

I'm still giving this ride some serious consideration. However, everybody is whining that they are too slow, so I don't want to just rip everybody to pieces with my blinding climbing speed and go-forever endurance!

Ok gents this is what I have so far. It looks like those listed are in? Please feel free to correct me and/or chime in if you are able to join. Plan is to meet at Angelus Oaks Restaurant (Post Office) at 0730. Please feel free to text me if you are running a few behind that morning. Again, please update if you are not in as a couple of you sounded iffy. Super excited to ride with you guys and we will leave no rider behind. If you are able to bring a cam great as it's always nice to have video. I know from lurking here you guys are very good with a camera.

    Thanks Mucho!

Ken I have a suggestion . The climb out to the Post office at the end in the heat is not real enjoyable. Would you consider starting at the bottom of Middle control fire road , climb up to the PO come down the PO single track which is awesome then go out to SF and back to the cars? Ending on a high note in the shade? This is how I normally do it. You can drive down the fireroad to the bridge, campground start point or drive around on glass road turn left onto the fire road and park at the bridge or campground without driving on any dirt. Hu hu hu what do ya think? Would be a much nicer finish. Pleeeeeeease! If so T-2 and I are in.

Hi Tom of course that sounds great. Should we still all meet at the Post Office/Restaurant? As long as we are all on the same page for a meet spot. Perfect!

Could someone drop a pin for this location? @Voodoo Tom and I have about a 3 hour trek to get there so we need to calculate out for our departure times.

To verify where are we meeting? At the PO restaurant or some other location? I only know of the restaurant lot and the big lot just down the road

    Directions.
You can drive just past the post office on 38 1st left is fire road entrance which I believe is Mill creek rd. You can drive this all the way down to the bridge and park there which is where we will meet, fastest.
Or drive past PO to glass road about 15 minutes go left go through 7 oaks , the road turns into 7 oaks road follow to the left back on mill creek rd to bridge and CG park. 10-15 min longer but all paved but last 100 yards. Cannot figure out the pin drop on the computer.

T-2 and I are leaving my place in Rancho at 6AM I have room for 4 let me know if you want in on the Bomb squad mobile!

Looks like myself and 2 others will be riding as well. Might just tag along for a little while or do the whole ride, just need to see if we can keep up lol. See you guys tomorrow.

BTW, I feel fortunate that I have 2 bikes to choose from. I have a Santa Cruz 5010 and my Nomad...any suggestions?

I would be on the SS.....if I were going.

However, the group size is a tad big for my liking on SART. Best kept to small groups.

Yes... It has indeed turned into a Monster ride. I stick to groups of 2 to 6 most often, however, sometimes a social event is good. I really want to meet some of the imtbtrails members!
