Punchbowl Wednesday 10/22

Got a half day at school so I'm taking advantage of the almost gone daylight savings and riding Devil's Punchbowl this Wednesday. I plan to leave the DP parking lot at about 2:00 p.m. It's about 14-16 miles mostly singletrack. Post if you're in!

 

That's just plain mean! :x :roll: No way I could be there before 4:30...

I'd offer to carpool but I think we'd have more ridin' time if we just met there at the Punchbowl! You can finally reclaim your bike cable lock which has never left my truck since Camp Nelson! Well, I hope you only use that cable to lock your bike! :shock:

 

Throw in a little Burkhart and Scan will be all over this one! :lol:

I'm hoping to get another Burkhart ride in this year, I'll be sure to let you know when Fran, I didn't know you liked it so much. I could even do to the Windmill tomorrow, but I'm sure if I do it will be without Maddog, unless he really surprises me :lol: .

 

Windmill yes but if you want to ride Burkhardt you'd better have some lights! :idea:

 

I'm really not interested in doing burkhart again, too much HAB for me. I like to keep my hiking and biking separate!!

hehehe sorry Mikie. I was gonna head out to rocky peak this morning but sleeping in felt soo good. The allure of riding somewhere new AND later in the day just did it for me...

 

Cool Luis! Punch bowl is on of the more tame trails of the goodness of the area, but the views got it going on. It depends on what Maddog has in store, cause the end of the trail twords Manzanita has been reworked, and can be a good challenge,to get the 16 miles he's talking about we pretty much have to ride it out.Finally somebody sees it my way, late start, no rush, plenty of time. Embrace oldness, I think? Well maybe not! Mikie is saying right now hill^billy's gonna be late :lol: .
