Posting pictures

Is there a thread on how to post pictures from your computer into a Thread?? I cant seem to find one... sorry for such a newbie question. I'm more of a lurker and occasionally poster but usually never post pictures. lol

I see the image icon but where do i get the image url?

 

If you "right click" on a picture....then click on "copy image location".

Then in "Image " icon just paste the URL that you copied.

 

You can also right click on a picture and "save picture as..." which will save it to your computer.

Then at the bottom of your post is a button that says "upload a file". Use that to insert the pics into your thread.

 

Yes these are pictures already on my computer. I saw the upload a file section but when i uploaded a file and previewed the post the picture didn't show up... i'll test it now.

 

See if this works by uploading a file...

Nice roadie wheels! I borrowed a Defy like that to ride last year's Solvang Century- it felt great. Congrats on uploading the pics successfully, not too tough once the steps are figured out (I too had to ask my son to help me with it)

 

If you have more than one picture, you can also drag multiple images into the "compose message" window. You'll see a little plus icon appear. Just drop them into the message...

 

Huh. I didn't even know that.

 

If I have a big ride report, I'll drag and drop all the pictures into the message at once, and then insert them as I write...
