I ran into the path of a moving metal bucket swing (how 80's is that) chasing a dodge ball when I was 8. Smacked me in the forehead an opened me up pretty good. Really didn't hurt at all, and doc and nurses couldn't believe how calm I was during the ordeal, including the stitches. Conversely, around that same age I had to have a small shard of glass cut out of my foot and the same doc literally had to put me in a straight jacket while my parents and nurses held my legs. Apparently I screamed bloody murder. I do still have the forehead scar.

Bingo! Not my blatter. I’ve only used pure drinking water in mine and although I don’t clean it often it continually appears spotless. The above pic is from a certain tailwind user that doesn’t clean often.

 

Thought it was somebody's catheter bag with a serious problem.

 

Pretty sure I'm moving on from Tailwind.

@Derkderkall I know chicks dig scars and all, but if you interested, these two products were highly recommended by my Skin Dr. specifically to reduce the sight of my knee replacement scar. I've been really pleased with how much the raised portions of the scar have flattened out. At 59, I'm not too worried about the color of the scar but he told me over a year or so the color will definitely fade.

The Mederma goes a long way and dries in 5 minutes. The Biocorneum is tacky going on and takes about 20 minutes to dry. It does offer SPF 30 protection. I alternate every week or so. I've been applying since mid-October and still have over half of each tube left. I bought it on Amazon since I wasn't able to drive at the time. Good luck to the 3 year old!

Maybe in context, but probably not out of nowhere. I was gonna say you're an XC guy too, but I suppose you are more an AM guy since you ride the Mt. Wilson network...even though you still walk sections of it, which is cheating.
