I suppose we have some before and after pics... Finished the build today less a Dropper Remote (ordered)...
I was so excited to ride a hardtail for the first time in 30 years, I harassed @voodoo to go ride with me at Tapia. Well, it was already wet from previous rains but when we got to the Towers it let loose again and rained on our sloppy azz's all the way down Kona and Carls. In fact it rained all the way back to Tom's casa.
Still got in over 13 miles. Once the Dropper Remote is on this beast, this baby is going to fly!

 

The neglect of the full-squish ride has begun

 

You make that sound like it's a good thing?

 

Well I was on wifey mandated lockdown since she was helping out at her parents house. Lucky for me @Mikie took his time finishing his rig and my wife hurried thru her work and was home early(not that this mattered cuzz I was going anyways but lucky for me she arrived 2 minutes before we split on the ride)... Not so much as a drop till we got to the towers and then the skies opened up. We were laughing like a couple 12 year olds at the bottom.

So first we have the before pic of the sexy b!tch(I'm taking about the bike people jeez...)


Then the during ride pics while still moving... His butt sure seems to be the focal point of this great ride...




And the after pic...


Then he dropped his shorts per my wifes suggestion and she gave him a towel before driving home.... Let me just say I hope his dropper remote never shows up as for once I was able to socially distance his azz on the way down the trail. Hardtails are fun and require different riding techniques. I'll be in trouble once he has some more time on this rig.

 

I prepped my MTB Friday for a ride on Saturday. Woke up in the morning and took off on the gravel bike.

 

I sold my gravel bike, problem solved.

 

Wait, @Mikie is wearing baggies? It IS the apocalypse.

 

Man! This story started out good but then got crappy...
I’m in deep Sh!t without any toilet paper.

However...
We had a blast. Riding in the rain is just plain good kid stuff. Bike rocked it for it’s maiden voyage.

Yeah, been wearing them all winter. Will continue to until it gets too hot then it’s 50/50 on what I will show up in at a ride...

I hope the body is continuing its final stages for recovery...

Fabulous photo. Yes, there is a charm out there. Trails are everywhere, though. I don't lust for being in SoCal, but I do miss my outdoor rec peoples. You all included.
