Riding with my daughter means a s-l-o-w chatty ride. If there was any risk I’d have made her and myself wear lids.

I know a guy who knew a guy who was an advanced roadie who was casually riding one day without his helmet. He simply tipped over at a slow speed, hit his head and separated his brain stem, killing him instantly.

My point is, always wear a helmet.

 

I’m down with that, but this morning when I awoke I realized I had it on backwards. And I’m getting some odd looks driving around.

Oh well, the price of being completely impervious to harm is so worth it. I don’t even have to think!

This is the first tire I feel confident in running it until the cords show. Over a 1,000 miles on it so far.

Still looks good to me. How are the sidewalls?

 

Yes. Still the Goodyear. The sidewalls are perfect. No seeping or signs of wear. The side knobs only have the slightest bit of cracking but nothing that makes me think they're going to get torn off. FYI I've been running it at 22psi.

 

I've bought new tires that started like that.

I had a meeting in Atwater this morning. So I had to hit-up bike spoke cafe for lunch, right?

Side note: I went to three bike shops (the one at bike spoke included) and none had pedro’s Bike lust. What’s up with that?
