Truly other worldly. Much of the footage scares the crud out of me.
Clip a handlebar, or strike a pedal - die. Seems smart!Truly other worldly. Much of the footage scares the crud out of me.
How does it go?Clip a handlebar, or strike a pedal - die. Seems smart!
I can't even watch without feeling sick.
This guy might be able to ride clean on that skinny gap we all tippy toe across on the beginning on Strawberry loop! No Fear, yup that is pure skills!Truly other worldly. Much of the footage scares the crud out of me.
What skinny gap on Strawberry loop? This guy might be able to ride clean on that skinny gap we all tippy toe across on the beginning on Strawberry loop! No Fear, yup that is pure skills!
Are you referring to the slide area? If so, I've ridden/cleaned it several times after it was cleaned up. But that doesn't last long. That hillside is crumbling before our eyes. This guy might be able to ride clean on that skinny gap we all tippy toe across on the beginning on Strawberry loop! No Fear, yup that is pure skills!
Yes I remember at one point you can ride right through, not the case I last rode it a couple of weeks ago, Sketchy!!Are you referring to the slide area? If so, I've ridden/cleaned it several times after it was cleaned up. But that doesn't last long. That hillside is crumbling before our eyes.
At the beginning of the singletrack, not even a quarter mile in where it has section of a lot of rock slide area,What skinny gap on Strawberry loop?
Yep, IME the repair to the slides there doesn't last for more than a few days.Yes I remember at one point you can ride right through, not the case I last rode it a couple of weeks ago, Sketchy!!
Well written. Those of us mountain bikers who push the limit on safety, who are "thrill seekers", live those exact words to some extent. Here's what Gee had to say after Pinkbikers told him he was insane...

Go a little wrong? Ummmmm.... A little wrong would be lethal.
Gee appears to have no regard for his own well being. Witness his Hardline crash of two years ago, or his helicopter ride out of Rampage this year.Well written. Those of us mountain bikers who push the limit on safety, who are "thrill seekers", live those exact words to some extent.
He survived a helicopter ride out, I survived a helicopter ride out. Didn't you survive one, too? Helicopter rides out are overrated.Gee appears to have no regard for his own well being. Witness his Hardline crash of two years ago, or his helicopter ride out of Rampage this year.
But I have spoken with him personally and was only 33 seconds slower than him in a Fontana DH in 2011! So I bask in his reflected glory!
Fun fact: For those that recall that Fontana DH usually has a separate course for Pro/Expert than for Sport/Beginner, this was one rare race that everyone was on the same (fairly tame) course. Rachel was in a sling, but Gee raced, and I think Dan did too. Danny MacAskill tried racing, but fell on a two foot drop and did his shoulder on a practice run.
It was a lot easier than walking!...Helicopter rides out are overrated.

reminds me of the floop!
