Yes this needs to happen before he takes the ax to the knees. A night ride thru the closed forest jumping gates and running from rangers with guns and 20 people running bright ass lights sounds like a great time but I don't think many will join. To be realistic I'm just gonna throw out a simple idea and that's Tapia... It's not gnar but it's legal, it's easy climbing, it's fun bombing down, it's got bailout options, it's got ton's of parking a few blocks off the freeway where we could have an after party/barbecue, and my house is about a half mile away from the staging area so we can continue the after party/barbecue there. Only problem is the weather could be 147 degrees but it could also be perfect. If this doesn't work maybe the …?

Would next Saturday September 25th work?
With all the forest closures I’m thinking Tapia to keep us out of trouble. Even up here they are shutting down and threatening fines. Golden Eagle is gated.

With Tapia, it’s directly off the 5 in Castaic. Has a couple options for excellent Mexican food afterwards. Tapia has some fun runs and some fun singletrack to rail.

Just a suggestion.
