Michigan -> Socal

Hey everyone! I'm new to the area on temporary work assignment in Palmdale. I'll be here for 2-3 weeks at a time, on and off, for the rest of the year.

I ran into Mikie last night at the P12 parking area and he pointed me to this forum to meet locals and get more info on the riding around here. Hi, Mikie!

So far I've ridden P12 a handful of times, the Lehigh trails, and Sullivan canyon. The riding back home in metro-Detroit is very different, so I'm eager to explore and see what socal has to offer. I've been MTBing for ~12 years or so and consider myself reasonably experienced, and I'm generally happy doing any kind of trail riding. Anything from full-day mountain-traversing epics to bike park, or hard chunky tech to social laps at P12. Looking forward to hearing recommendations and meeting you out on the trail!
