If you have lost a crank arm in El Prieto or know of the person who lost it - let me know, I have it.

My friend found it in the parking lot a while back, we've been posting it and asking around but no luck. It's an expensive crank arm, I'd hate to have it just as a paper weight.

Wow, it would be kind of hard to not realize that it was missing.

The person might have ridden back to the lot, set down to load the bike, and forgot about it... best guess.

I have repaired them a few times on the trail. Not well but enough to get the sucker out

How do you put your bike on a rack, in your truck, in your car or ride it home without noticing your crank fell off?

I've driven off leaving my front wheel in the driveway....so yeah its easy to leave behind something even smaller that may have fallen off. How'd Forest put it...

It's easy to drive off and leave a wheel if you take your wheel off to put your bike on or in your car. I am guessing he didn't take his crank off and forgot about it. If one side of your crank falls off, the other side soon follows. And that leaves a chain hanging. Oh well.
