Let's ride, ride!

Hi everyone! I was just hoping that maybe sme of my MTB brothers from the north country might set up a ride for this Sat that I could sneek away and join in on. Its been to long, I miss the Palmdale, Acton, Labec, and the rest of crew from the northern parts. Seems I've been missing out on some good rides up that way.
I would try to put something togeather myself but other than Dave's backyard and Mikie's frontyard I wouldn't know where to go. Besides every ride I've joined you guys on Has been.... well perfect. Except maybe for Mikies BLISTERING HOT ride over the hill's and through the woods to Grapevine!

Warren! Hey I can't organize a ride but if someone else does I might be able to participate in at least a portion of it. My daughter is visiting this weekend so not sure when/if I can get out to ride.

 

Okay, OKAY! I STILL hate myself, already! :lol:

I just threw out text to T-Bomb and to rossage to see if they have anything planned. Trust me, if they be doing something, we wanna go!

We could crash an OTB Ride on Saturday at Mt. Luken down in the Glendale area.

 

Backbone off Kanan Rd. at Tunnel 1 to the rock overlook and back? 90% s/t! Doug's done it.

...but I'll be there if you guys choose to come out. We could meet at the staging area at 9am for a 9:30 start.

It's an out and back ride and depending on breaks, takes 3-3:30h to complete.

 

Well with that refrance you leave yourself completely open to show up, not show up, or do just about anything you want without have to worry about it! :-(

As much as I love BB trail, I'm out - anything more than a half hour from home is not doable most of the time for me these days

 

Willi-D I here you 90% of my rides are from the house aswell.

On a side note if sat doesn't work for most I just realized I have Monday off so that might be an option.

The AC is not riding tomorrow but if Mike and Jeff agree to do Golden Eagle tomorrow, you can meet me at my place at 7:30 for us to meet them at 8am at Tapia. From there, we'll all ride in my truck to the staging area.

Text me tonight around 9pm and I'll let you know if it's still on- waiting on them to confirm.

On a side note, maybe on one of these gloomy days you can join me to do my 42 mile, 9k ride. The conditions have to be perfect or the sun will fry us! If the weather cooperates, we could make it a 62 mile 14k ride. Sure, we'd have to start at 7am and prolly end at 2-3pm but I think it can be done!

 

EI sorry for the late reply. Worked late thn took the wife out for V Day. Looks like I am just goin to try and catch the OTB group ride in glendale.
I'm down to do your 9000ft ride but agree weather and schedualing needs to be right.
