Flu shot????

Too late! Been sick since Saturday night with the flu-which I initially blamed on some moisture-laden medical. Still, I ate some pseudofed and did a Strawberry loop....paid for it.
I worked my half day Sunday at the shop in a daze but still managed to sell a couple of bikes. When got home I felt like Sh!t warmed over. My Chinese father in law's bare palm thermometer said I was san shi ba, 38°C. Definitely had a fever and chills and aches-like growing pains in my knees, hips and shoulders. I think the worst is over, but it's kind of like the tide, comes in strong then fades...
So, as a result of my illness, I am spending a lot of time on the Web and I have to say, you guys are failing to meet my entertainment needs during my downtime. I like raunchy comedy and porn. Now I can't tell you exactly what porn is, but I know it when I see it-so let's just stick to comedy, lighthearted anecdotes, Bukowski-esque tales of intrigue.

I'm going to wait until 9 for lift off. Not really, because I use a 5g avb mixture with 1 cup of coconut oil. I only need to use about 1/3cup for my recipe.
Next time I'm bumping up to 7.5g. Those are for camping!

Strange how this flu comes in waves. I start to feel better, then my sinuses start getting blocked, and the hot and cold flashes start again. Each time seems a little less severe than before.
The brownie worked well. Not Spicoli-stoned well! Just nice and relaxing and allowed me to sleep through most of the night. Main problem is they taste so good, it is hard to eat just one-but that's all you need.

Day 5 and finally starting to feel somewhat normal, physically.
Would a flu shot have helped? Maybe, if I caught the right strain of flu. It may have diminished the symptoms/effects, according to the Docs.
I'm not an anti-vaccer but I also do not take any medication unnecessarily, or without study.

 

I don't get flu vaccines, and, knock on wood, I don't get the flu - or at least, I have been lucky enough not to for the past ten or so years.

That's the Impression That I get.

 

I don't get the shot either. Odds are that an adult will get the flu about once a decade, children more frequently. Last time I got the flu was about 3-4 days after flying home from China in 2008. This time it was about 3-4 days after a Wal-Mart and Costco run.
People are nasty!

 

I've never had a flu shot and I was 18 the last time I had the flu. So 20ish years ago?

Most people I know that get the flu shot inevitably get the flu.
