With one more event on the calendar for 2016 (Non Dot Jasper), it is time to start "planning" the 2017 schedule.
Here are a few of the event I'm interested in:

Tour de Palm Spring (1/27/17) Road
    True Grit Epic (3/11/17)
    Vision Quest (4/8/17)
    Sea Otter Classic (4/20-23/17)
    Whiskey 50 (4/17)
    Sisters Stampede (5/28/17)
    Carson City (6/18/17)
    Grizzly 100 (6/30/17)
    Tour the Cure (6/10/17) Road
    Fat 55 Oakridge (6/11/17)
    High Cascades 100 (7/15/17)
Ride Around the Bear (7/17) Road
    Cool Breeze 200km (8/17) Road
    Amtrak century (9/17) Road
Tour of the White Mtn. (10/17)

I know I will only do some of these, and I was wandering which other events I'm missing out on.
So, please list the events you are most looking forward to in 2017.

I'll be doing the TdePS again.
I want to do the Solvang Century in March.
I'd like to do the Counting Coup but for a couple reasons probably won't .
Shooting for the Cool Breeze 200K again. Did it in 2013 and had a blast.

If I can get anyone else to go as slow as I do - the Grizzly Century again in October.

I did the Tour de Palm Springs two years ago when it still had 3000 feet of climbing. They have neutered the course, and it's flat as a pancake. Same with the Big Ring Century.

    Personally...

I haven't looked at the dates yet, but I'm looking to do:

Rwanda 50... It's in my back yard and it's a good cause.
    Vision Quest... Peer pressure.
Catalina Gran Fondo... The single track they added last year was nuts, but the views are the best no matter the course.
Wrightwood 50... This ride is nuts. 50 miles and 10,000+ feet with some of the best descents around.
Maybe the Tour de Camp Pendleton... The marines put on a good show and I like to do at least one road century.
The Redlands Strada Rossa!... Even if they don't offer the 100 miler, it will still be fun.
Temecula?... We'll see what the new format looks like after they ditch the 12 hour format.
Several unnamed mtnbikej death marches... He calls them normal weekend rides. I'm happy to survive. :D

Edit: Can't believe I forgot the Hell Ride. o_O

    Next year my goals are...

Rim Nordic Enduro series - this is my big one. I had a lot of fun with the two races I did this season, and this year I want to race the entire series
Fontana Enduro - a race or two, likely not the entire series

Catalina Gran Fondo (although I doubt I'll be able to train for it for more than a weekend or two before)
    Hell Ride 2017!
MAYBE the True Grit epic. MAYBE. Similar to Catalina, I likely have a training problem with the new job for a hard 50.

Well I think there's only 6 World Cup DHs this year, so I may have time to do most of the EWSs too.

I'm adding Rwanda 50, and Wrightwood 50 to my list.

I'm sure there are plenty of events in NorCal. Any suggestions?

If'n yall want these on the imtbtrails calendar, open up a trail invite for each of them with all the details your think it should have. You have the ability to "add" it to the calendar yourself (but only you can add a post that you are the author to on the calendar) by going to the Thread Tools drop down in the upper right corner of the OP posting. That way when someone clicks on the link on the calendar, it will take them to your posting in Trailheads.
    Hope that helps!
