Dump the restrictions

So, my non-biking friends and family now have to sign up as a member to read a report here. Which they won't do, nor would I ask them to.

The unintended consequence of the restriction is, I won't post ride reports here. Not like I think my wailing will be an impetus for change, but maybe food for thought. No other enthusiast sites I visit have a restriction like this site does, and I realize now that that is key to my enjoyment and utility of social media.

Although the new york times does keep asking me for money, so I don't click on their stories anymore.

@Mikie's attempt to scarf up email addresses for nefarious purposes would be scary, if it was. If it's that difficult, well, to each their own of course.

@Mikie, keep it the way it is now. There are other sites open to public viewing where the Russians won't have to attempt a hack to see the goods. Leave those to them.
