So I am rebuilding my legs after years off the bike. My garage burned down in 2014 and everything inside was destroyed, including my lovely Turner Burner (OG 4 bar). So after much rebuilding and spending of money, I finally found a deal on a Demo Flux. Great bike. Snapped that bad boy up. Now I just need to build up the motor. Motor has noodles for legs right now.

Was that posted on STR? I remember reading that story, and seeing the pictures you posted... Either way- Glad to have you back on the bike, and there is at least one other fellow Turner enthusiast in here, @Cougar .

Right? DT makes a bad ass bike. And I love me some USA products. I had the OG 4 Bar Burner back in the day. I pushed it to 120 mm, so the flux is basically in the same ballpark but with bigger hoops. 28.5 lbs of goodness.

Shouldn't take very long to build back up to your former fitness in the matter of weeks/months. It's a good time to start planning out your routines, as you have a clean slate for setting up habits, and you might want to avoid making bad ones, unless you plan on being the super flexible adaptive type that is a jack-of-all, master-of-none.

Check out the lights and nutrition/hydration (Tailwind) threads to help yourself along. Don't forget to work on your core and upper body strength as well. Speaking of developing habits, maybe do push-ups as a warm-up before biking and do sit-ups while brushing your teeth or whatever. The push-ups and sit-ups translate to more confident descending in the attack position. ;)
