I planned on getting out this morning, but the stars shifted, and tomorrow is now ride day...

Man, I’m getting called out! You’re right, though... I’ve done this loop so many times, I take it for granted.

 

Well... last time I rode this it took me 3:57 with some pretty major stopping here and there to talk to people. Normal target pace for me would be 3:30(?)

It was when they were bulldozing the new firebreak just past the doppler ball. I stopped to talk to the guys bulldozing, and then about 1/2 mile further up, there was a dude in pickup who stopped me and proceeded to ask me about biking on every trail and in every canyon on the west side of the mountains I was there 20 minutes Plus there were a couple of times when I stopped because I wasn't exactly sure where I was... or where I was going

Separately... don't forget daylight savings time ends tonight. Anyone want to leave at 7:00 AM instead? (it will feel like 8:00 AM)

 

It's all gonna depend on how I feel after today's ride.

You're biking to the trail head? My feelings of inadequacy just soared to new heights. Maybe I'll set up a little car camping action at the Tree Farm... and be cooking some Belgian waffles when you roll up!!

I’m planning a long slow pedal day... And I’ll be on the cheater bike. It’s not fast uphill.

 

By that definition, I guess all my bikes are cheater bikes
