Hadn't committed cause I was going to an event at the Nicks school. Pulled a couple strings and bribed a couple people though so now I'm in. Now to find a lift...

I think I talked @Faust29 into the Hellacious Ride, starting from Big Bear Village. Making it a 50 miler and dropping down 7 Oaks.

Knickerbocker up, down 7 Oaks, Frontage Rd to South Fork, then do the Hell Ride.

 

@mtnbikej, down Radford, turn left on Frontline or all the way down to Seven Oaks and climb up to South Fork from there??

To the bottom of Radford.....then we gotta climb up the Feontage Rd/7 Oaks Rd to South Fork.

Same as what I did at the Grizzly.

 

Interesting. I watched a video on youtube. It's fairly short considering the descent.

I guess I am gonna have to add that to my to-do list when we are staying up in BB.

 

Only thing that sucks to make it a loop, is you either climb back up Radford or Clark’s Grade. Fortunately, we don’t have to worry about that tomorrow.

Sorry.....been a busy week. I didn’t catch it. Then again, I just thought it up this morning.

 

What is the shuttle strategy on this? I'm thinking maybe Voodoo and I would be interested in this....

 

I could get the 6 of us up to South Fork where I’m dropping off GregO and Vincent. It’ll be a snug fit.

Then someone can drive me back up afterward to Big Bear Village.

 

For when Hell Ride isn't hellish enough!!!!

 

From BB if you ride towards Sugar Loaf and look for the Wild Horse trail, that drops you just above South Fork near the begging of Hell Ride.
I don’t have time to look in my strava for that route but it’s there. So you can follow it.

Way back when Hell Ride started (and only had about 10 guys), it started in Big Bear.
