Art Smith Trail in Palm Canyon

For a little variation on finishing PCE with Art Smith, on the way down AS, you can peel off onto Hop along Cassidy - you'll miss the rockiest part of the AS descent but you'll also avoid the pavement on 74. There is also the original ending on Art Smith which is even chunkier but probably will earn you a dirty look from the trail police. Personally, I feel like Art Smith is a kick in the balls as a finish to PCE. It is most definitely not all downhill. But, if you're into getting kicked in the balls, it's a pretty trail.
