Anyone know this guy?

Along the same lines, but then on strava, not on youtube, see below the route of one the local MTB celebrities, followed by 100+ MTBers. At least 4 illegal trails, all of them get brushed up every now and then (also volunteers) plus signs (apart from Telonics, ignore that one). Including the straight line down from rattlesnake into the canyon. Nice. Doing it is one thing, posting is not good in any case, esp if you should be kind of a role model perhaps ?

Perhaps i am overthinking it, but i dont see it as a good thing, sorry.

 

But how will I show how cool I am if I don't post my rides on Strava or YouTube?

 

I'l take that as an invite. Inquiring minds want to know. I have a feeling that there is going to be a massive group ride forming now for your return to mountain biking.

I debated posting that video because, although the trails aren't mentioned by name, they are still well documented. Tommy is a solid rider. Curses a lot, but solid.

In order the trails are...Not on the menu.

One of them was so difficult for me a few years ago, I turned around and pushed back up. Coincidentally, I was with Mo at the time too.

 

Im liking this guys videos more n more.. i rode one of those trails..was exploring by myself and found it.. was fun but walked alot..even walking was sketchy!
As to illegal trail riding...? What r ur thoughts?
I try to be discreet..
When i ride alone sometimes i explore..sometimes i find treasure.. other times.. i find trails that i have no business being on...
The debate is to publize or keep it local knowledge. Secret...

Once a mtbker said to me el moro is so boring bc all fire roads..
Does he have to earn the right to find the treasure or can a buddy show him the goods?
The video kid sure cusses alot but like i said i enjoy his videos..
If u ever wanna ride the secret trails of the floop ill show u all the good stuff...

Fight club rules for off-menu trails. Keep your g-dayum mouth shut and smile. Do trail-work when it rains. Keep your groups to five or fewer. Don't make trails wider unless they are so narrow you can't get your bars through.

Tommy thinks a mass uprising will force legalization of "secret" trails. No. A mass uprising will force eliminating mt. bikes from local wilderness parks. Tommy - keep your mouth shut, your strava off and stop naming trails in your videos. You are a badass rider, but you do not need public validation.

 

So many rules herz!
U gotta admit the videos r great to watch..
