She was brutalized by a brain injury car crash last year. One of the few women I have always followed on Strava ... just hoping to beat her times. I have randomly met her twice on the trails. Fast as F@ck.

This one time at band camp .. err, Cocktail Rock ... I thought I would drop in after her ... she was gone and I never saw her again that day.

Reads like Specialized is supporting her and keeping her on the payroll. That's the best part to read, that they don't just cut her off but can use her as an ambassador or within their corporate structure!

 

Fahrkkk! That sucks. I saw her briefly on The Luge once. Ummm yeah...

So sad to hear of that injury and its lasting impact.

 

She goes out with class while Tinker whines like a child that didn’t get his way.

 

Something tells me her best years are yet to come. She has a lot more to offer the cycling world than just getting to the finish line first. Looking forward to watching her new role on fold.
