    About 8 mi. away from me. On the same fault line system that I live on and that caused the '87 Whittier quake. 4.5 magnitude and pretty deep. Will be looking around the house for cracks when the sun comes up a bit more. Glad it was over quickly. It was sure a sharp jolt.

    4.6 according to the USGS. It was centered in Rosemead over by where the 60 and 605 meet.
    I'm in Alhambra, about 4 miles away. The L and P waves hit almost simultaneously, so I knew it was close...
    It usually takes a 5 or greater to knock stuff off shelves.
