It was bought by some guy in AZ early last year with promises of bringing it back to it old self.

Well.....15 months later the site only partly works, which is what it did before the sale. The only users are bots.

It dead and gone.

 

Well that was interesting. I guess I'll see him back on Pinkbike. I think he was one of the Fontana regulars when some of us were playing DHers in 2009-2012. I could be wrong.

Unfortunately no, he can’t. Mark insisted on me deleting his account, I do not delete accounts. Deleting accounts removes all their interactions on the site. It is the prerogative of the forum owner and I chose not to delete accounts as policy.

@FizzyCola apparently you know Mark. I always get bummed when it goes sideways so fast like this. It’s like spark hit dry tinder and whoosh! Been my experience that there is a lot more going on in a fellers life than a bad post on a bike forum.

Also, that @FizzyCola vouches for someone's character means something to me. So I give the OP the benefit of the doubt and offer a candid invitation to reconsider engaging here. Seems likely one of those you don't know what's going on in someone else's life deals.

 

Seriously tho.... I’m selling a baby stroller with car seat and base. It just occurred to me my previous offer may have implied you being childish, which was not my intention at all. I don’t know you, but we probably have similar riding styles if you were on a Reign. Come back, and we can make fun of all the weaker, slower, timid riders together.
