    Personally, I love the classic looks and a steel frame. I'm skeptical about the 2x8 drivetrain, but that's probably due to my experience with newer drivetrain options. If I was looking for a road bike, I'd give it a shot.

    I've put 10,000 miles on my 1985 steel bike that weighs about 25 pounds. Nothing wrong with that unless you are racing or chasing KOM's up Baldy.
