Signed up for a mini jump clinic on may 7 and everything was going smooth.. we were doing 3 feet jumps landing smooth but on the next step... 4 feet... was feeling tired for been pedaling (worked the night before) and I was approaching the ramp when felt that I wasn't carrying enough speed and BAM !! front tire didn't make it to the next ramp... I was laying on my back and the instructor was right next to me asking questions and then proceeded to feel me up..nothing was broken just a couple of cuts (btw I forgot my elbow and knee pads) no backpack to cushion the landing.... everything is almost healed. next time if I feel tired I'm going to rest before jumping back jajajaja @Tom the Bomb the class is for pure beginners, because after the ride we did in marshall canyon you got air very easily that this class would be boring for your skills.

Glad to see it wasn't anything worse. Who put on the class?

Ouch! Good for you getting out there and taking more classes. Sorry about the bumps and bruises, but thankfully it's not worse...

Put a bug in your bean then you should be able to jump. :Roflmao ;)

Good on you for expanding your skills Jaime - you'll only learn by pushing yourself.

I wanted to get more skills because in the trail you just need to be prepared, the time I went to ride with @Tom the Bomb he let me know about a little drop ahead of me but my gopro hit a branch pretty hard and I was distracted by the hit that when the drop came I wsnt prepared and need to brake hard and after rolling by the side of it, I saw it was small but without beign focused it looked big...that is why I signed on the class ...knowledge is power !

So you think skills will keep you from crashing when you ride with TtB? Many will disagree!

I kid. Way to go, Jaime...keep cranking and making it fun.
