Pretty much if have a Mac and ever used Zoom you are probably vunerable to a drive by that could remotely start zoom and turn on your camera.

There is some fixes at the bottom.

This is bad enough and now researchers looking to see if there's an RCE ... For the layman that's bad $hit.

Zoom being knuckleheads to boot.

BTW I use zoom on a Mac nearly every day for years... Not happy.

I use a MacBook pro, but as I don't know what zoom is then I must not be affected.

Unless it refers to zooming in by doing the reverse pinch maneuver on the magic pad. I which case I jacked because I pinch very often ( and sometime the wife rear too ). But hey, if they want to watch me stare at a screen and work, read iMtb, ( or nod off on boring days) then go for it.

I saw today that Apple is quietly removing the Zoom server from Macs...

 

Zoom released an update today that removes it.... Took public shaming.
