I am making a voyage up to skypark for a full day of laps and food and fun. Probably stay for dinner. I have a group of 5-6 of my riding buddies of various age, experience, and fitness. Should be a fun group. Extending this open invite to IMTB trails.

well, since theres no lift and you pedal up (right?) I think you may be on to something. Perhaps the trails are "open" even if "santas village" is closed?

This ride is still on. If anyone is planing to come 100% let me know this week, it might be worth your while to.

 

I may or may not do a half marathon Saturday. This sounds tempting in the afternoon. I'll think on it.

@LLPoolJ, another friend, and I hit Skypark Saturday afternoon and loved it. I didn't bring my camera, but really enjoyed Comet (enduro line) and Jumpline A LOT. Upper part of Arrow and Sleighride were fun and worth a ride down more than once. The bonus trials stuff, and the wood features on the trails were good fun. The ramp drop at the bottom of Comet looked sketch rolling into it, but standing on it beforehand it didn't look bad.

 

Afternoon is a maybe also.

 

Had a group of 4 today at Sky Park and it was excellent. RR to follow

 

@LLPoolJ and I barely missed you. We literally crossed paths in the parking lot at 3:30.

 

Oh bummer. We were planning to rally a couple more runs after a refreshments break, but we all were feeling fatigued and retired and called it.

 

I'll be going back. going to save up for an annual pass soon.
