Not sure which trails we'll do. Just wing it with some combination of the Jackson Lake trails, Leprechaun and maybe Table Top. Lots of dirt road and paved climbs to sections of great trails with a little bit of everything.

Previous Ride Reports: They're out there. I'm too lazy to search!
Possible Bail-Outs: Many bail-out points or just turn around back to the lake
Facilities: Flush toilets and water at Big Pine and Grassy Hollow
Food/water suggestions: 100 oz Camelback should be good with maybe one bottle to fill just in case. I'll consume one Clif Bar at some point.

What if we both came down with a case of the "Shuttles"?

If I am going to try and get back to some FUN climbing than maybe a little suffering is in order Greg. We can save the shuttle for the 30 miler of down hill. Will see how it goes with the tail wind concoction TTB cooked in his kitchen?

 

No pill is gonna cure this ill; or something like that! Apologies to Robert Palmer!

 

FUN climbing does not exist but if we must suffer the climb I'll be there right behind you; as long as your tail wind does not smell too bad!

I want to do that route with you.
I picture a Leprechaun to Boy Scout, to Log Jammer, back to Boyscout, down Middle Jackson, back up Boyscout, down Deer Trail and finish down Boyscout!

 

Yikes! That route would be about 35 miles! Ya know, we're not talkin' about low altitude fire roads here! I might skip Log Jammer to chip off about 8 miles or so; unless you want to shuttle!

Me and H^B did not do Leprechaun this time. Headed up Boy Scout to Grassy Hollow then Deer and back down Boy Scout. About 11.5 fun miles. Perfect to get Doogie back in riding shape!

 

It's a felony to ride Wrightwood and skip Manzanita.

 

Tell me about it, I was arrested on the way home and my wife just posted bail.

 

Why would she go and do a thing like that!
