Ah, I see, in addition to excessive trail damage and a danger to other trail user groups, now E-bikes are a danger to wildlife. The evidence keeps pilling up.

I really don't want to offend the neighbors, but they have an ugly dog.
Bring out the camera and he really hams it up...

Saw this lil guy slithering by the other day while out riding through El Prieto area, not far from the Owen Brown stone. Didn't see any Rattlers all summer until now?
It was still a lil baby,

Saw this one one while hiking in HB with the pups.
Just above my head shadow. A little over 2 feet, but has 8-10 rattles.

Heard some sad news about our local OC Mtn lion celebrity Uno. She got hit by a car last night around 5:30 on Santiago Cyn Rd right by Cooks Corner and had to be euthanized… Two cubs from her recent litters were also killed by cars.

    That's sad to hear.
I think I caught a glimpse of Uno about a year ago, loading up the bikes after a night ride, I heard a noise on the hill above us along Santiago Canyon near Modjeska Grade. I shined my light around and saw one glowing eye staring down at me.

The poor girl was also pregnant with two cubs that also did not survive.

Head up Canyon Blvd past the entrance to canyon park in the early morning hours after sunrise and there’s a good chance you’ll catch this beautiful creature making the rounds.

Yes, I stoped in the middle of the road and took this picture. I was ~30' away from this wonderful creature. I hope he doesn't take any of my chickens or ducks.

Hate to tell you, but if you are that close - your chickens and ducks are in jeopardy.
Enclosing the top is the best method.

Some of the best I have been on.
Bass Lake area, Shaver Lake area, San Joaquin River Gorge ( eventually from Fresno to Mammouth Mountain). China Peak during the Summer bike season.
There are probably 80-90 trails within an hour drive from my house.
Whatever your flavor of riding, it's up here.

There are a couple of non-ebike trails other than that, it's wide open.
