Me too but tomorrow it's on! Strawberry!

 

It is looking like I will be behind the Orange Curtain for the weekend. I am looking for a ride Saturday morning or maybe Sunday morning. I tend to like the rowdier trails (at least of the legal ones), but am fairly open. Please let me know if you have something going and don't mind me tagging along.

 

This sounds like something I would like to do. We could reprise the 5-Oaks, Stairs, T and A, Car Wreck run I did a few weeks ago. Maybe @Cougar et al would join in...

This morning- roadie ride (Rose bowl loops)

Sat morning - some local dirt (not sure yet where)

Sunday-Tues: Cougar Crest/Exploration/Skyline (Big bear!)

 

Hmmmmm Mt. St. Anne WC DH is on Saturday morning. I love watching those live.

I know how much you love to ride with tons of people on a Saturday in a county park so I'm pretty sure you know bout the Non-Dot race going on?

 

So, because of the race on Saturday, change to Sunday then? Hmmmm, Maybe, just maybe

 

I just have to be off the bike Sunday by 10:30am. I'll keep an eye on this thread to see what develops.

Went to gilman peak..itt seems no one rides it anymore...very overgrown..

 

Isn't Gillman Peak closed to bikes....hiking only?

 

U can go up the long way via telegraph n make a big u turn loop..

 

That's what I was getting at....you can go up Sycamore to get to North Ridge, then go to Gillman Peak, but the Gillman Singletrack from Telegraph is Hiking Only.

 

Gilman peak downhill singletrack from the peak has been hikers only for at least 15 years...

 

I was gonna ride the FLoop this evening, but it's 95 degrees.

I think I'll just wimp out here at the house, with the AC going, and read about the exploits of other people.

It's either going to be an Old Camp/Luge run or a Holy Jim to Trabuco loop... Sunday morning. Early, but not before the roosters. Flexible.

 

For his 40th Floop on Strava (he numbers them) Vince wants to do a 40 mile Floop. So tomorrow we're linking all the trails in Fullerton to make it happen. 6 others are joining us. Should be an adventure without really going any where.
