Gonna ride the Santa Monicas tomorrow morning Wednesday. Starting from the Caballero Canyon trail head on Reseda blvd at 7:00am. Just gonna play it by ear mostly but wanna hit the ridge ST on Mandeville FR and possibly Jedi atop Sullivan FR. Going to also look for some new off menu ST that's sprung up.

 

So, you're not bringing the Subway?

 

I was gonna say bring the e-bike, but I controlled myself.

If it helps, I spent all day yesterday on the route caching Tailwind, Powerade, emergency flares, smelling salts and waterproof matches. GoPro power could prove insurmountable, though.

I'm more of a Togo's kinda guy.. I'm waiting for Tailwind to come out with a tuna sandwich flavor.

In all honesty I've ridden like 10 times since CC so I have some alone time on the bike until I can join you guys. I did get a light not long ago so definitely interested in some summer afternoon rides that finish in the dark.

 

That's in my backpack with my multi-meter for Di2.

 

I seem to remember quite a bit of personal doubt before CC... This ride is 1/3 of that. You'd be fine.

 

Hey, @Cornholio, you should join for this great circuit. No hammerfest, just enjoy some evening dirt. Charge up the light and sip some water tomorrow, you got it.

 

Rumor has it that this rumored ride is fizzling and will not take place.

 

There's always tomorrow. Speaking of which, there's a vanishingly small chance that I will join the Thursday evening B* ride. Other things in the works, more to follow in the future.

 

The walk of shame without even leaving the house... Pathetical, perhaps, but we live to battle again one day!!!!

Leaving for Morro Bay tomorrow. Great trails near the ocean.....cooooler, badly needed temp drop. Riding friday and saturday.

 

Darn, if you could have waited one more week to the day, we could have rolled the Central Coast dirt together! I will be heading up there next week on Thursday (FINALLY!).

I have been thinking about the McGill trail, Mikie highly recomends it.

 

Holy Jims again this weekend. Saturday or Sunday dawn patrol (your preference?). No quick pace, rests on the climb. Either day works for us.
