I assume that's the measurement while flaccid. BTW, I ordered one too. Did you select shipping or store pick-up?

I'll be two legging it in JTNP tomorrow. No bikes allowed where we are going....

But if bikes were allowed there, we'd have some fantastic stuff to ride and endless piles of rocks amd boulders to play on.

You can ride on any dirt road but not on trails. And yes, you can road bike but the roads very narrow in the Park.

I'm going to hit the flatlands after work.
Going to try 2 loops if the gate is locked again, if it's open, then the long loop will happen.

Bommer Canyon open access day on Saturday. I am not sure why I would subject myself to the extreme frustration that the hoards of hikers the first one in January will bring ... but hopefully I can start ass early and get a few decent downhills in.

P.C.E Saturday 8:00 am. w/ Crazy Bear shuttle. I'm riding my regular work horse of a trail bike ( my 2018 Santa Cruz Hightower mid-travel bike ) It has fresh tread, new chain, tires, brake pads and has been waiting for some time for another adventure to get into.

I'm rolling on DT350's with fresh rubber ( Maxxis DHF and DHR II ) hubs serviced within the last 6 months. No worn out star ratchets for me. I enjoyed that post of yours regarding salvaging parts out in the field! You can't make that stuff up!

    That sucks. Self shuttle time!

Someone should invent a mt bike that has a motor on it for self-shuttling.

It should be the moral imperative of iMTBtrails membership to serve as a shuttle driver when unable to ride due to physical constraints…assuming you are allowed out of the house in the first place.
