I guess that if you don't crash, you don't need them? I rarely crash but I think that it is because I ride conservatively (through the gnar).

Anybody have time off this week and want to hit something not too terribly taxing such as Skyline in Big Bear?

I'm off all week. I have a bike and a car and I am not afraid to use them. Well, a little afraid to use the bike. No death defying cliff dancing, no gnarly steep rock chunk fest, no boring fire roads unless in the woods and on the way to something good, no bike park jumpy jumps and nothing hot.

I need someone to ride with.

No. If there's a possibility of falling to a painful death, I need to avoid it at this time. I want to ride something enjoyable, not filled with tension at every moment.

Mostly unhelpful response incoming. What day were you thinking? I could maybe do Friday. I could only do Friday, but I can't definitely do Friday. Meaning, I'm happy to be your wingman if the stars align and you can make a somewhat last minute call. If you happen to go up with others on Friday I would also do my best to join. If you're also off next week I could more easily do that midweek, though I realize that's not what you asked.

Exploration thursday, 8am. Not a tough climb. Loop is about 8 miles unless you add more up to Keller peak. Beautiful ST, enough chunk for the Megaplower, closer than BB, AND it's been a while since we rode. @Tom the Bomb is a maybe, @NinjaDon is planning on it.
