Our typical when feeling frisky is:
Jackson Lake up Boyscout over to Log Jammer,
Climb Fault Line to Leprechaun,
Climb back up Boyscout over to Middle Jackson and drop back to Boyscout
Climb Boyscout one last time and drop Boyscout back to Jackson Lake

Not enough wheaties the last couple of times to do the last BS climb, but I want to...

Is this the Jackson Lake ride??

 

Going to ride the Folsom/Auburn area while visiting family.

 

Sure is... 8:00am roll time. This is @scan’s ride but knowing the tentative route there’s options of peeling off early.

 

Cool! Time wise I can do this! Is it gnarly at all?

 

There’s a couple spots that are a little technical but nothing bad and nothing that can’t be walked if not comfortable. A little exposure for a couple short stretches but again not bad in my opinion. It’s basically just beautiful riding on forest trails and fire roads. A few steep spots where low gears are nice but again not bad.

 

Oh sweet! I’ve done some small rides out there while visiting my sister!

It’s nothing like Comet or Skypark at all for that matter. Think Mt Pinos forest views with GE width single track.

Temps are reversed right now. The inversion layer is keeping the warmer temps above the clouds. Take lots of water or refill at Mt Wilson or Redbox
