Or my Tracer. It longs to be ridden by someone with talent - and it yearns to be ridden on a weekday. However it is XL (by 2014 standards), so might be a smidge large. If the geometry works out, you're welcome to give it a thrashing.

Anybody interested in riding the palm canyon epic on Black Friday? Free shuttle for up to four riders from South Orange county first come first served. so far there is one maybe and three open spots. This is not a hasty ride but it will be spirited. let me know i’ll drive.

 

I'm working on getting someone to ride with me in truck out there and would very much appreciate a possible shuttle up after or before the decent. First time riding the PCE and looking forward to taking it all in rather than pacing through it quick. Thanks

 

Its time for a Mt. Lukens grind. I will have the wife drop me off at the fire station on hwy 2. Then, climb to the towers, roll down on the Haines side, drop in on Bluebug, and then take neighborhood streets back to my cave.

 

The shuttle is from south OC (Mission Viejo) to the trailhead, and then from Palm Springs back to south OC. The catch is I’m going to drop off the riders at the trailhead by 7am and then take the subject vehicle to Palm Springs to meet Crazy Bear. Xavier will drive the Chicken Nuggets to the trailhead where either i’ll meet the folks I shuttled, or I’ll try to catch them along the route if they decide to start their ride. The Nuggets won’t be beginning their ride until about 9am. There is no charge for the DangerDirty shuttle, and my truck has 5 seatbelts, but it is tiny, and (according to my wife) it smells like stale farts.

When I say the ride won’t be hasty, I mean prep time and mid-ride libations will not be rushed. When I say the ride will be spirited, I mean that when on the saddle, the pace will be brisk.

I keep leather cleaner by the door in the garage and wipe down the vw seats after every ride.

 

Ojai rekon run after last years fires. No particular route nailed down. Thinking climb up Sisar and drop Red Reef then climb back up and drop Horn(never done this but I've heard it's chunky fun and I've seen pictures) then try to figure out how to get back to the car. No staging point even nailed down but we should be in Ojai about 9:00ish. Could be 18ish with 3K or could be 25ish with 5k or more. Cruise pace except when pointed down.

 

If you’re talking tomorrow you’ll be joined by a bunch of gravel bikes. The Peloton Gravel Mob is tomorrow.

Crap really...? Gravel bikes really climb up Sisar? That seems overly not fun and painful. Oh well they won't stand a chance on the downs, just sayin...

 

Yep, I rode it last year. Think it’s capped at 250 riders. They do the sulfur mtn climb first so you can probably get out in front of them.

 

Skypark 9am Sat. XC 1st 5 miles then jumping commences.

As you can see, you are relegated to the road ride thread for road rides.
