I don’t care if it was Black Friday, Shop Small Saturday or you were early to the Cyber Monday, what did you get? Bike related or not.

I picked up a set of Santa Cruz Reserves. It wasn’t the deal of the century but it was the first time I have ever seen them on sale. I still might buy some parts for the AR-15 tomorrow, trying to convince myself to spend the $$.

I actually did not see anything that was mind blowing and I looked and looked.

What I did see was some places increasing the prices of the items to suggested retail, and then adding a 20% discount or the like.

I kinda sorta did, but didn't. I bought something last night on sale, but the sale lasts for a month, so not BF. They just took advantage of the BF marketing frenzy to clear out something I am guessing is being replaced soon, a Garmin Fenix watch.

I actually worked both Thursday and Friday, taking advantage of the holiday OT pay.

Wifey lost her Garmin vivofit whatever it was watch a while back so shes getting a Fitbit charge 3 whether she wants it or not cause it'll be here tomorrow. I need bike parts but my wife dropped a not so subtle hint that other family members are contributing to a Fadi gift certificate for Xmas so I'll just wait and hope I don't run out of brake pads/tire tread/sealant/chain lube etc in the meantime. Who knows maybe an MRP Ribbon fork?

Ho, man I’m jacked up... I re-upped my Adobe Creative Suite for 25% off.:confused:

The cats got two for one cat grass. Cat grass? I hadn’t heard of it either. But it’s a thing, and they do like it :geek: The oat/barley beat out wheat.

Nothing bike related, but did buy mens grooming products that I needed anyway.
Around 60% off of what I normally pay and a bunch of other goodies tossed in as their largest gift pack . If you haven't used Jack black products, they rock .
This is the only time of the year it goes on sale anywhere so I take advantage .

I've never thought to buy their products for myself but every time I get their stuff as a gift they work really well.

I picked up a pair of shorts from Mission Workshop so that I don't have to wash my only pair after each ride. Not an amazing deal but, it was 20% off with a $20 store credit and a bag of coffee for free.

I bought a few things.....not really BF deals....but already on clearance.

Looked around for some new tires, but didn't think any of the prices were really that great.

Is that catnip they love or another plant? I saw live catnip, but our guys have plenty of ‘nip options at home. They’re unimpressed with mine.:)

We tried some of the grass and they couldn't care less.

    The nip on the otherhand.....apeshit.

I worked 25 hours of OT instead. I stay far away from stores on BF. Maybe order something tomorrow if there are any good deals, but usually nothing that's worth the hassle.

Picked up a sweet Specialized Riprock 20. Actually Wheel World had 20% off everything, including current model year bikes. Was hard to resist temptation just on principle.

My wife is (hopefully) going to pick up a new yukata for me from my favorite online kimono shop:

    https://www.kimono-yukata-market.com/

I get up early in the morning and I like a comfortable robe, however the ones that are sold here in the states generally suck - they are too short, or too small, or terry-cloth and too hot. Since I started wearing nice yukatas I have never looked back (I'm wearing one now :) ). I used to go to a kimono shop in Little Tokyo, downtown LA, but the online one at my link is better. The owner is super nice.

I'm still using CS3. I can't get past the whole "software as a subscription" model. I would rather use dated software that I own than to have to pay those outrageous annual fees. But at least you got it on discount :)

Still using Office 2010. Probably go to a shareware/freeware program if MSFT tries to force us onto their subscription model :)

I hear ya, Greg, I resist early adoption. But swapping files left and right with agencies, it's just not worth the IMDL files/backsaving and the perception (right or not) that one doesn't want to make a career investment. If my client doesn't have current SW, that's fine with me, but I don't want to be the one inhibiting any seamlessness. Most agencies in IME keep current, so I'm somewhat obligated to. For MS Office, too, ghaa...
