Scan - I will be riding locally around 11:30am tomorrow (wednesday 2/17) If ya wanna come down to my 'hood, you won't have to ride solo.

If I ride tomorrow, im just gonna stick to laguna and do a short one early. Im gonna decide in the morning;. got stuff to do later anyway.
Im just not that stoked on riding during unusually warm/dry/windy/dusty conditions in winter when (at least in the distant past) it should be cool and tacky. Forecast says better tomorrow but ill believe it when I see it. I think the best day to ride this week would be Thur, after the light rain at an appropriate trail, but wife and i are going hiking on Thurs, which is great too. So probly will do other stuff tomorrow so can have all day on thurs.
WTF happened to El Nino ? Yippee a tenth/quarter of an inch maybe on Thurs and then warm/dry again next week?! Unfair!

I plan to ride sunrise at Sycamore Cyn (Riverside) with @Marek Chrobak and sunset ride Itchy-Scratchy to Webb with The Dante. Somewhere in between I will attempt to earn my salary and deliver the opening thoughts of our weekly Toastmasters meeting...I am the group's president...I know...

 

Naggy cold has decided to take residence in bronchials. Doc says rest and let the ABs do their thing. Normally I'd say screw it and go anyway but that hasn't seemed to work so far

@herzalot, It is a casual ride with a few buddies who really push me on the steeps...
I work from home on Wednesdays when possible... so that is the day that I can ride after work (or surf). If anyone ever wants to join, PM me for deets. We go every Wednesday, just about...

 

I ended up riding diddly squat on Wednesday...I slept in and missed the sunrise ride at Sycamore Canyon, and my chance for redemption at sunset with The Dante got rained out. I haven't ridden since Golden Eagle on Sunday, and I already had two donuts today. This upcoming Saturday sunset ride with @mike in OC is absolutely necessary. I will be ready, Aye!
