I'm hoping to reach 300K of elevation this year, and I need 32K more in the next 6 weeks....... (easy)
That being said, I would like to keep my long riders under six hours (and 6000 ft.).

Under 6 hours and under 6000 feet? Then you can't call it a long ride! :p

I keep on telling my wife that long (and short) is a relative term.
For me rides over 5 hours get to a point of diminishing return.

    Let call them medium rides.

Has it really been almost 2 years since we've done this route?

Yeah, it hurts in a good kinda way.

I've tried this ride twice, on two different bikes. Both of those bikes are now dead- broken frames. Coincidence? :cautious:

Exactly two years to the day... It's going to be awhile before this ride is possible again.
