Definitely worth adding HBV. But then you're looking at Bombing down Cathedral Cyn Trail or going steeply up Dunn to the tractor

 

AJ is all pretty rideable, some tech and pucker here and there, with one exception. That one narrow passage with massive penalty. If something looks super cool I might take a risk like that but rolling through a loose, rough patch of side-sloping choss for glory seems dumb to (for) me.

AJ is the longest average dh out there at 3.57. The first half is fast and flowy with some quick punchy AS type ups. Then it is Techy, sketchy hairball exposure. Very loose exposed narrow s/t with a little washout or too. If you are not into tech and exposure, Cindy's is a step down from this, the goat trails the easiest finish. Pick your fav. Art Smith is a cruise compared to the end of AJ. My fav. is goat trails to water tower to superman. A.J. is #2 with Cindy's #3 and A.S. #4. Buuuuuuttttt you do not have to twist my arm to ride any of them!
