Trying to scam a scammer...

I used a throw away account. I hoping the scammer sees the irony of the situation...

Holy ScammerScam, Batman!

 

I found a suspiciously low priced Dune buggy and I just cut and pasted previously received scammer email into the reply.

 

I like it.

Occasionally I will keep one of those annoying callers on the line to ferret out details on their stuff. It can be amazingly entertaining.

 

If you Google her email.....you will see it comes up as a scammer

 

I posted a spa pump on CL a few days ago and got one of those scammers almost immediately. I had no experience with it, but the replies looked whacko. Cancelled the ad and will run again soon, a little wiser and hopefully not compromised.

 

Craig's List...you get what you pay for.

 

I've gotten both of those spam messages several times. I usually reply with the contact info for the district attorney hoping they will keep trying to scam them and let the DA feel our pain.

I like to look at the full email headers. You can see the route that it took to get to you... Like my "Fedex Fail Deliver Notification" that I received the other day. Funny... It originated in Russia.

Often now when you get a live person on a telemarketing call now a days they are calling from a cell phone, not a call center. I have called people back and tried to sell them on my business. Almost worked once.
