Took the other toy out New Years day.

I like to start the year out right. So I went and plaied in the mountians with my other toy. I hope my Anthem doesn't read this!

I took Pilot Rock rd from Silverwood lake to the Pennical s staging area. Then met up with a good friend of mine, Brian. Brian is also the Bass player in the band 60gritt Blues Band.

Well enough pointless babbling!

Looks like a blast, way to start the year right.

Wheeling is good times. I'm scheming on a Moab wheeling/MTB trip this year. How sweet would that be, world class of both trail types, criss crossing, even; right next to your campground.

The short final climb up to Pilot Rock. Some day I'm going to ride my bike from Green Valley lake to Silverwood Lake. Stopping here at Pilot Rock for lunch!

Hey Warren, Sh!t howdy! Do you know anything about there being MTB trails around Silverwood Lake?

 

Yes I did a 7 mile ride there on Easter Sunday 2014. That was after i crashed and broke my helmet earlier in the morning on a 36 mile ride around fullyloop. I also saw but have not checked some what looked like killer ST around the Dam area.

 

In the shadows there is a ST not sure if this is part of the SOT or not but it looks like a great trail to explore this is north east of the dam.

 

Love the photo of the undercarriage where one bank is snow covered and the other is not.

 

Sorry about changing the subject but, I had heard there was alot of trails being built there so we got to get our butts out there and explore it, what'd you say?

 

I will see what I can do. I know a couple of people that might know the trails out there. I am totally up to exploring the area.

 

That's great, it's a pretty easy drive for me up the 138 and for the last 3 years I been wanting to check it out so let's set it up Been awhile since I've seen ya.
