I was hoping to make Blackstar last night and Golden Eagle today but I'm not feeling 100% so I'm staying home. I had prepped my bike, bought another new CamelBak and installed a new Forkaster tire just for Golden Eagle. What to do? I might make it out tomorrow for a ride. I hope ya'll have fun out there today!

 

No injuries to report today! Perfect and awesome day! Next time you guys will partake of the GE goods(hopefully)

What a GREAT day!

 

What a great day up there. Here's the roll call of participants:

Couldn't ask for better weather. Cool sunshine, with enough breeze to keep the bugs at bay. Not a lot to report as far as the ride goes, a couple minor spills, but I will let those involved 'fess up. Just really fun singletrack with really awesome people.

The after party was fantastic. Beers, dogs, brats, sandwiches, Mrs IMTB's famous cookies, laughter, storytelling, hugs and for a moment I thought we were either going to hold hands and sing Kum Ba Ya or start a drum circle. So much awesomeness.

Sara - we are all glad to see you back on dirt. You absolutely crush it on that 5010. Such stoke! Congrats!

Bikes are fun. IMTB people are fun. That is all.

You're welcome and yes, maybe a Malibu ride. I have no idea what the riding is like there, but I'll put it on the definite maybe list.

 

It sure sounds like you guys had fun - on the bikes and off.
I don't know how you remember all the names @herzalot . You did it at the Wrightwood ride too. I wish I could do that.

 

Would have LOVED to have gone... these get-togethers are always just the best! This one wasn't in the cards unfortunately... glad to see so many could make it though! Looking forward to the pics and sundry details!
