Nothing but heavy rain and wind here last night. Just under 2". That's quite a bit for here.

 

Jennifer just sent this pic to me. We have a nice dusting on our local mountains.

Let me clarify - dump of SNOW. Sheeesh - you people and your juvenille humor.

 

About 6" at the top of Ortega when I buzzed across at noon today. Plows had cleared the road, but plenty on the ground and in the trees. Lots of looky-loo families out getting a taste of the rare snowfall. How dare they go have free family fun!

Yeah, I think this is one of our larger dumps. They are becoming more and more frequent having several this year. I hope we can figure out how to keep cows from farting...

 

Snow capped mtns from above Chantry Flats to Azusa Cyn through the windows. From the rear windows inside, low snow from Wilson to the Cajon beyond Baldy. Beautiful evening in los altos.

The grandkids were excited about the snow. Six of the seven were outside playing in the snow - even the one year old. Especially exciting for the AZ kids. More on the ground right now.

 

Haha! Yes! Cows and Cars and Volcanoes and Glaciers, and the Amazon, and and and...me! Mamas thinks I have astro/gastro -nomical problems, but I claim a high metabolism and healthy gut! I have a dream that is Utopia where man and bicycles and nature can live in harmony, but my butt is incompatible, and I haven’t figured out how to leave it at home when I leave the house.

3 degrees farenheight here in Atlantic Canada this morning. It's cold.
No snow on the ground either.

26 degrees here and 3 feet of this, this morning...
We finally got power at around 4 am this morning. Yay.

 

2 degrees celsius outside Frankfurt, Germany and no snow here either, just a bunch of off and on light rain. Headed to Strasbourg, France tomorrow and then on to Prague where it's supposed to jump up to 4 degrees celsius = 40 fahrenheit

 

I was just watching the weather Network with my dad and they showed clips of the snow down there. Told him that was what I expected to come to, not leave behind!
