Not sure if that's rime or frost hoar, but it looks cool.
No snow over at Sierra, no cams at Pleasants.
I've been looking through videos to try and find one of it snowing.

We have a light dusting on Mt. Lukens at about the 3500' level. Nothing on the Verdugos but that might change (hopefully) because it's my understanding that the snow level will continue to drop as the day progresses. It is cool out, that's for sure.

Crazy hail storm in Redlands... it let loose for 15 minutes. Everything covered by a good .3333333" of hail.
The boy went out and jumped on the tram-op-o-line and lived to tell the story!

Woke up to 15 degrees in Lake Arrowhead. Final snow tally right at 12". Would love to go for a hike but no snowshoes and it's allot of work just to go 20 feet without (probably with, too). And today is "dig out the car and plow berm day". I'm gonna see if the leaf blower will move any of it. Not sure how much my back can take, but it is pretty light and powdery. I'm ready to get back to some hero dirt!

 

Huh. I never thought about lifting the wipers prior to snow to make snow removal easier the next morning. Pictures say a thousand words!

 

Gotta love the day after in a normal CA winter:

 

We got 10” out of that storm since Jan. 31. The Crescenta Valley area now has 24” of rain since the season started last year. Another 12” and it will be a classic El Nino Winter for us. Shouldn’t be a problem this year.

 

I can see snow on the fire road up on clamshell peak.

Took a detour on my way home to get a good spot of the San Gabe's.Visibility was amazing today, could see the mountains out in San Bernardino easily.

 

Wait until the storm next week... shaping up to be another 3-dayer.

 

Anyone has an educated guess whether the OC parks will be open tomorrow? Will check their website. I am off tomorrow so i am all excited to ride
