Got some rain ☔ now...

 

Those hills have their own weather pattern around them!

 

No rain here yet; but I think she's goosing Acapulco and Vercruz.

 

Storm of the century.....turning out to be a dud.

 

Suprisingly the 1st time this has ever happened

 

Had a few sprinkles on the way to the pediatrician this morning but that was it and nothing since. My wife left work early and took over watching the baby so I rode my bike a little and stopped for lunch at the local pizza joint. Starting to look more grey but the Doppler shows it staying north for the next few hours. Still have to ride home so hoping it stays dry but only a few minute ride home from here.

 

I like how the TV news people have been putting on mud boots and then reporting while standing in some dirty run-off...

Been raining here all day, pretty hard at times.

Just started in Riverside.

Good timing, I start my bike commute home in an hour. Bonus, I did start riding my old CX instead of my roadie.

 

I seem to remember most of the hype was always Santa Barbara and Ventura counties. OC wasn't forecast to get any more than a couple inches.

 

Well, that Doppler looks like everything North of OC is in for some significant moisture. Just as long as Mt Wilson is good to go for Saturday, it can rain all it wants

 

I'm half considering Mt Wilson Friday of the PCE shuttle falls through, and weather doesn't ruin it.

 

Just got back to home base. Rained from Barstow all the way back home.

They say that the bad stuff is yet to come...

 

2.3" locally so far. I'm going to take advantage of the break in the rain and deliver Like It's 1999.

 

Dry as my mouth after a 30 miler here.

 

I got blocked in a parallel parking space by an inconsiderate FedEx delivery guy today. I sat and waited it out since I wasn't in a hurry. Took him a few mins to come out and move his truck even though he saw me get into my truck.

I'm thinking you meant deliver "like it's 2999" since 1999 has come and gone?

I only block people in as a last resort and I'm generally not gone more than a minute.

I actually meant 1999 because I used to hustle back then. Now it's just one stop at a time.

But I do wonder what UPS deliveries will be like in 2999...

Got about 15 minutes of mild rain, then nothing.

 

We got zilch yesterday. Just starting to mist here at 5:30 am. Supposed to be gone by 8 pm tonight.

 

I have a feeling I am going to get soaked again today. OTOH tomorrow should be epic conditions.
