The Gentlemen was today's rainy-day matinee. I love British mob/caper type films (Snatch, Transpotting, Layer Cake) and this is a good one.

 

Snatch...

I had that dreaded cough over the holidays... At the end I would cough hard and squeak.... Which would make me laugh because it sounded like the dog in Snatch... Laugh led to cough led to squeak...it was a bad cycle....

Strange title, Peanut Butter Falcon, but thought I’d throw it out there and add that it’s the best movie I’ve seen in a while!

 

I must say, Guy Richie has a bit of an obsession with pigs. We can discuss after you've seen The Gents.

 

Oh yeah... looks great! Shy Le Bufffff is making a bit of a comeback. Just saw Honey Boy last week, it was pretty good as well.

Went to “Call of the Wild” last night. Very strange because of the CGI dog - almost cartoon like. Got to wonder if Harrison Ford knew what he was getting in to with this one.

 

Yeah, the trailer really confused me. Like they were trying to make a serious and thoughtful remake, and then half way through decided to make it slap-stick buddy comedy (voiced by David Spade!).

 

Watched it a while ago as well... I liked it, IMO 3 out of 4 stars...

It hit home for me as I have a cousin with Down Syndrome and for decades, he's singularly fascinated with pro wrestling. We can spend hours talking about all the wrestlers and why he liked some but not others and ranking them. He passed away last month...

I do like that this movie brings some light to DS.

Living in Canada and in the sticks, I cannot stream movies on a satellite dish. Meaning I can’t stream Amazon Prime. Meaning I can’t watch Expanse Season 4. Came out quite a while ago and it appears they are not going to release it on DVD like they did the first 3 seasons.
You probably see where this is already going.

Is there anybody out there willing/interested in recording Season 4 for me? I’ll pay you for it.

We were one of the families that bought a Beta......was great for a few months ,

I can set up the super 8 camera to record the picture while it plays on my TV. Promise I'll try not to fart too loudly while it's recording......
