Purchased our Halloween tickets for the 19th!

 

And, we saw it.

 

Haven't seen the original. No spoilers!

 

Just saw "Bohemian Rhapsody"

Definitely one you gotta catch in the theatre. Or with a full home theater I suppose.

 

We sure won’t be watching that one for the acting.

We’ve been watching the Haunting of Hill House series on Netflix. Very well done, excellent cast, and sneaky creepy.

 

I've heard others say the same. I will be checking it out later. While not a movie (too lazy to search for tv series thread), we are really liking Bodyguard on Netflix. Action packed, grabs you hard right off, British, vaguely reminiscent of Homeland.

 

Scifi movies were not meant to win any academy awards. They are a mental release from reality. Ya don't go in expecting much or you will be disappointed every time.

Think of it as going under the knife. There you are on the table, the I.V. is hooked up and they are about to push the drug in that will knock you out. There isn't a damned thing you can do about it, either. You just go-with-the-flow.

I wasn’t commenting on the genre, just Heard and Moma. There’s nothing wrong with action & SciFi flicks.

 

The Shape of Water now has the floor...

 

I would take Amber in any shape or form any day if the week.

 

Is E2 as good as E1? I really liked E1!

 

Forgot about that one. Put a hold on the DVD at the library a moment ago.

Both are really good movies that are great watches! See 'em in the theater!

 

I gotta admit, these ^^ genre movies just don't do it for me.

 

I probably wouldn't have liked them so much on DVD, but in the theater, they're big and loud and fun (and sad).

Sci-Fi Guy here...
I bought all 5 seasons of Fringe and convinced it is the best Sci-Fi TV Series ever made...
But open to suggestions!

Just finished our several month Fringe Binge... Been years so the ending was hazy and surprisingly satisfying! If you ever get the chance. Less than $50 bucks on Amazon for some long term entertainment.​

I'd like to see both of these^^^.

I mentioned it elsewhere, but saw Fighting With My Family this week. Pretty good for $5 Tuesday or on HBO. Nick Frost is in it, so is Cersei and Vince Vaughn. Good flick.
